The Vision:

 

Over the next few years we are hoping to develop a platform that will be used to feed and minister the lost, broken, and hurting people all over the world. With the ultimate goal feeding the people of the world both spiritually and physically which will be done the following ways:

​

1) working with and funneling resources to already established not for profits worldwide who have been vetted and who share the same goals.

​

2) Working with and funneling resources to local churches

​

3) Boots on the ground initiatives

​

4) Disaster relief efforts 

​

5) Teaching and providing the necessary resources for sustainable farming 

​

The Background:

​

Patience has been key throughout this journey. Big Beard Barbeq started from a love for cooking. I started this with no firm sense of direction, no vision for the company other than selling sauce. This later developed into a 3 step plan. Sauce->catering->restaurant. I have been working on getting everything in order to bottle and sell sauce for almost 2 years now and it has been a long bumpy winding road. There were points in time that I wondered if I should even continue. But I pressed ever forward. The reason why my sauce isn’t in a bottle yet is because my vision was not in place. My ultimate goal was bottle sauce, sell sauce. I jumped into this too quickly and was only looking at $$.  For the past 2 21 days of prayer I have filled out a prayer card for the direction for my business. However Fall 2018 21 days of prayer this year was a little different I decided to press in and really seek what God had for His business. If I had everything in ready and the sauce already bottled this would not have been a priority or a need. God has placed the right people around me to encourage me, mentor me and even placed the right creative minded people around me who have helped me tremendously. for the past few months I have been asking God and thinking about this one question: "Is there a way I can use this platform to feed people physically and spiritually?"

Global Outreach Initiative: The "What" and "Where" 

As we get closer to God he speaks to us in ways we never could have imagined. Around July 2018 as I began seeking God harder than ever he spoke to me through a revelation that I didn’t understand at the time. During a time of prayer and focusing on him I heard him speak audibly to me. His words were “you will touch people and speak the Gospel to people in 49 Nations”. This was very confusing to me. I have no ministry experience to speak of, I have never been to another country, I wasn't even entirely sure how many Nations there are, so of course I had to do a little research just to do some fact checking. This was the point where he revealed and spoke a piece of the vision to me. He has spoken the “What” and “where”

 

Development: The "Who"

Early August 2018 God has continued to develop me in my spiritual journey and truly find out who I am in Him. He has also continued to reveal the potential that he has given me. I am enrolled in Ministry leadership school and starting at the end of August. God deserves all the Glory, As we get closer to God he speaks to us in ways we never could have imagined. God has only chosen me and given me the skills and connections to make a difference in this world. I deserve nothing but a servant of God. He has spoken the “Who”

The Heart: The "Why"

Fast forward to late August of 2018 during an encouraging word from our pastor another piece was spoken to me. And this is where the pieces started to take shape. Pastor Chris said during his rally cry for the teams to see people as Jesus sees them “there are people who need fed all across the world” The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. This is the line that allowed the vision to take shape. The words Big Beard Global we’re spoken to me and Immediately I began to draw the lines and connect the dots. Perhaps this is how I am going to speak the Gospel to people in 49 countries. He has spoken the “why” 

 

The Future: The "When" and "How"

The “When” and “How” have yet to be spoken to me however I believe that Gods promises are Yes and Amen so I will patiently wait and seek him further until he speaks the rest to me.
